Cleaning of main board
As the basic hardware of the whole equipment, the accumulation of dust on the motherboard is the most likely to cause problems, and the motherboard is also the most likely to accumulate a large amount of dust. When cleaning the main board in the machine room with electricity, first remove all connectors, and number the unplugged equipment to prevent confusion. Then, remove the screws fixing the main board, remove the main board, and brush off the dust in each part with a wool brush. During operation, the power-1 network equipment must be properly cleaned on line to prevent touching the patch components on the surface of the main board or causing looseness of components and false soldering. Where there is too much dust, it can be cleaned with anhydrous alcohol. Special protection shall be provided for the temperature measuring elements (thermistors) on the main board, such as shielding them in advance, so as to avoid the protective failure of the main board caused by the damage of these elements. If there is too much dust in the slot on the motherboard, you can clean it with a leather tiger or hair dryer. If oxidation occurs, you can insert paper with certain hardness into the slot and wipe it back and forth (the surface with smooth surface is outward).
Cleaning of box surface
The dust on the inner surface of the chassis can be wiped with a dry wet cloth. Note that the wet cloth should be as dry as possible to avoid residual water stains. After wiping, it should be dried with an electric hair dryer. Only by mastering the maintenance means used for live cleaning can it bring better cleaning effect.
Cleaning of peripheral plugs and sockets
For these peripheral sockets, the floating soil is generally removed with a brush and then cleaned with an electric hair dryer. If there is oil stain, it can be removed with degreasing cotton ball dipped with anhydrous alcohol.
Note: detergent can also be used for cleaning, but the detergent should be neutral, because acidic substances will corrode the equipment, and the volatility of the detergent must be better.
